Mercia routine

We're settling back into our marina routine after the excitements of the past week. This morning was spent in and around the boat doing things like making a short length of hose for Sheila to use when filling her can from the bollard tap, having got a connector from Poundland yesterday.

Sheila did her regular start of the month banking stuff and I managed to finish the quiz for the Braidbar Owners' Weekend.

After lunch, Sheila walked into the village for her hairdo whilst I pottered on around the boat. Elanor and Sally came across at three, just as there was a really hot spell, so we went and had a game of copse and rompers in the coolth under the trees. Sally had had a good dash about in the Burton Washlands yesterday, so was happy to do some serious rummaging and squirrel exercising today.

We got back to the marina just as Sheila did and spent some time sat in the well deck drinking tea and nattering.

It's just started raining out there; looks like the weather has broken just in time for the weekend, sorry folks.

  2. We're ok, it's the others I feel sorry for...

Will you be at the BBQ by Block 3 on Sunday, with the Chesterfield marching band?

    Cheers
