Dog to dog blog: loafing about with Grandpa

Hi folks

I'm so sorry I never met Lynx, he sounded so cool and chilled, and such a wow on the keyboard. Run free, guy. Here's a sad cat to cheer us up:

 /omg

I've been spending the day on the boat with the AGPs whilst Mummy goes to work. It's been pretty quiet, with a load of rain getting in the way of serious bunny chasing, but I got in a half decent dash about in the field.

Don't believe I've written here since I got the new bed on the boat, though I think Grandpa had a bit of a natter about it the other week. The company ended up sending two beds, and after a load of quite unnecessary pondering, Mum did the obvious thing and bought the second one to use at home.

Mind you, in a typically unfair decision, she's not got it out yet, because she says she's saving it as a reward for doing some serious cleaning and clearing up. So this means I have to wait for her to get the act together so that I can get a decent kip.

How fair is that?

Finally, Grandpa announced after lunch that he was going to get his own back on me. I don't know what he was on about (I seldom do), but he went and LAY DOWN on MY BED! I had to cooch up on one side of it with my legs hanging off the edge.

I really don't know what that's about either, but just in case anyone out there thinks that this oh so kindly guy, published BOOKS and everything, is capable of such inkonsidder incconsidder unfairness, here's the proof:

See, hardly any space left for me!

Just because I give them the pleasure of my company on their bed when I've stayed over… Nope, can't bring myself to say any more today.

Loads of licks to you all

Sally

  1. Well, Sally, that is disgraceful behaviour from you grandad - what a cheek!

Just make sure that you leave his bits dangling over the side of his bed when you make yourself comfy in the middle tonight!

  3. Hi

I didn't stop the night, went home with Mum, who understands my need to snuggle on most of the bed. Got my own back anyway; rested my chin on his, and stuck my tongue in his mouth every time he opened it...

Got a big day Saturday, agility comp, so I'll keep you all posted.
