Quiet Monday

Isn't it frustrating, sitting around waiting for a delivery? These days, we are spoiled by the likes of Amazon and Ocado, indicating a probable day in the first case and allowing you to specify to within the hour in the second when the delivery will come.

In the case of Cheap Mobility Online, we were given a five day window, of which tomorrow is the last day. It was useful to have this day at home, but it will get to be a bit of a drag if it goes on much longer.

Sheila's been having a mega washday, and I've been pottering around doing various bits and pieces, so not a lot of substance to report, frankly. Instead, here's a few photos.

First off, whilst I was working in the engine room yesterday, I had the stern doors open, so could see the effect of the gale whistling across the marina:

There are some sea sick coots in there somewhere
At its worst, the waves splashed against the bows of the boats opposite:

I don't think New Boat Co. managed to sell many of these yesterday
Today, another of the holiday lodges was delivered, and there was a bit of hassle getting the two halves  through the vehicle gate:

Waiting for part two
They were then craned onto a preprepared plinth and screwed together.

Tomorrow, we have Sally with us, which will make it really interesting if the chairs come.
