Woke early, got going by eight. Easy run through tunnel, which is still very wet, especially at N end. No problems with ground water in this part of the world!
Dolce, Priscilla and Ice Breaker already here, and New Dawn, Eleventh Heaven and Just Siviting have arrived this afternoon.
Port side and forward bulkhead of boat rinsed and dried, and lots of other bits and bobs of cleaning done. Lots of time for chat as well, in sunny conditions.
Mooring arrangements much better than last year, with proper signage and marks on towpath. All rather tightly packed, though – we may have to do some juggling to get all the boats in. Most of the Braidbars are in one pack; we're just waiting for Cala to arrive to make the set. Briar Rose and Islay, who booked independently, are not far away.
Started our fresh pineapple at lunchtime. absolutely scrumptious, and the fiendish device great fun to use. Thanks again, George and Susan!
I can see us buying a lot more pineapples in future.
