Hi guys
What a weekend! Did some serious agility display stuff , and got to chat up various other dogs and humans. Very tiring, but good fun, except for all the hanging about, far too much of that, and nowhere to kip.
Spent yesterday recovering at home, and I've got Mum to bring me out to the marina today to have a day with the AGPs. It's a bit hot and muggy for my taste, to be honest, but still makes a change from dozing in my cave cage at home. Also gives me a break from the cat, who had the brass neck to try to scoff my tea the other night, stuck his mush right in the bowl while I was waiting to be released to eat the grub.
Did my best warning growl, but he ignored me, so I picked him up.
Very gently.
By his head.
That sorted him, especially as I was really looking forward to my tea, know what I mean, so the old gob was quite moist; full of drool, in fact, most of which transferred itself to Kato's bonce.
He won't try that again in a hurry, though he got his own back last night; I'm sitting by the tumble dryer, dreaming of grub, when he gets on top of it and starts flicking my ears with his paw.
Anyway, here we are at Mercia; I got a half decent run in the field this morning, chasing my tyre toy, but had to give it up after a bit, just too hot, man.
This afternoon, we've been for the patrol round the premises, always interesting to see what's going down and who's about, though it's pretty quiet, frankly.
Never mind, Mum's off to a wedding this weekend, so I'm coming here to stay; apparently dogs aren't welcome at this do, but at least I'll get a decent amount of attention from the AGPs.
Finally - Sue, I was gutted to hear about Poppy, just when I was getting to know her through her diary. I'm so sorry, please give Ty and Ollie a big hug from me, and hang in there, won't you? At least she had a really good few weeks with you before the end.
Loads of licks to you all
Your friend

Well Sally, you are having a very exciting life, but I can't believe there was no-where to kip at agility - I mean, you're a lurcher type, you need you kip!
Ollie and Ty need a strong woman to boss them around - Lou's just not up for the job at the moment - I will given them a big hug and them follow-up with any instructions that you have for them!
I'm sad that you never met Poppy - I think you'd have had a blast!
