Hi guys
The AGPs are stuck in Mercia Marina, something to do with river levels, though since it's supposed to be a canal boat, I don't understand. Grandpa says he'll do a post tomorrow to explain.
Yeah right, thrilling, not…
Meanwhile I had this seriously cool weekend, me and Mum and nine blokes, what could be better. It's the first time I've been on a werg dig, as Mum calls them. I'd never really fancied going before, I mean the Festival thing was bad enough, a dead bore, but this was different. I spent quite a bit of time tied up watching, while Mum did stuff on diggers and rollers (cool, or what).
I'd been worried that werg might be a misspelling for warg, the really bad wolf types in Lord of the Rings, but no, nothing so macho as that, though several of the guys really fancied themselves. Got lots of pats and strokes and admiration out of it, so I'm not complaining. Mum and I had our own little room to kip in, with my bed and her blow up thing side by side, great.
We got back quite late from that, then yesterday evening we came over to the marina for me to have a run in the fields. Now that went really well, took my mini tyre chase toy and managed to lose it in the long grass. (Note to others, the technique is: do a dump, then while your human is picking it up, run off with the tyre and drop it somewhere else while she's not looking.)
Worked an absolute treat, got loads of time to mooch and bunny hunt whilst Mum quartered the field looking for the toy.
Hee, hee.
Then today, off we went again back here. Mum left me in a bit of a rush, as she was running late (now there's a change…)
I've had another run in the field, loads of treats from Grandpa, who does much better treats than Mum, and a good kip with lots of dreaming time.
Then we had another stroll round the marina, showing ourselves to my admirers, except there weren't any about, and back to the boat for more kip.
With any luck these rivers will stay up for ages and I'll get some more time here at the weekend…
Loads of licks
