After a peaceful night last night, we were up and about betimes this morning. It's now cold enough to keep the fire in all the time, so I managed to resurrect it with some sticks and a bit of coal whilst making the first thing cup of tea.
After breakfast we pottered about, chatting to folk and helping later on with a boat shuffle to move Cala out of the paint dock and Dolce Far Niente in. Later on still we did a mini shuffle to swap the two boats in build; Andy had been putting windows into One Day, and now needed her on the other side of the yard to do the other windows.
Andy has also installed the 4 bar pressure relief valve on the calorifier, and John finished putting the extra bit of wooden rail in under the dinette. We wait to see if these two moves cure the respective problems. (The 3.5 bar PRV wept all the time, just a little, but enough to leave an annoying and disfiguring patch down the side of the hull.)
We're now waiting for the hire boat, Tiree, to come back - her present hirers are choosing to go home tonight, rather than tomorrow morning. As Peter wanted to get away in good time, we've said that we'll meet her, see the hirers off and move the boat into the centre of the yard overnight, connected to a shoreline to make sure that her batteries are well charged for the next hirer to take over tomorrow.
If she comes back in time, we'll also get her pumped out and dieseled.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to decide if it's worth carrying on with my Twitter account. I only look at it occasionally, when it seems to be mostly full of the most trivial and irrelevant stuff. I only started it to have an alternate way of doing a micro blog by phone if I couldn't get a decent internet connection, and I've used it that way about three times this year, I think.

I know what you mean about Twitter, it does depend a little on who you follow. I'm enjoying following your blog and also follow you on Twitter. I remain slightly envious of your life style. One day, perhaps.
Hi
Thanks for that – don't leave it too late, that's all!
;)
Cheers
