Can't really be bothered to do this, it's just so hot, but Grandpa is even less wired for it, so suppose I'll have to.

Where'd that cat come from? I dunno, this place is so weird.
Like I said, Mum's
Had a quiet night, got through to the AGP's bedroom at around six, gave them all the big good morning greeting then we all snoozed for a good bit longer. Finally persuaded Grandpa to take me to the fields for a run after breakfast and the usual
She's just had an alarming experience in one of the big dog running fields here at Mercia. She'd gone bunny hunting behind a long bund down the side of the field; meanwhile, I walked away to the far corner. When she finally emerged from the top end of the bund, she was the full diagonal of the field away from me, and couldn't see me against the hedge.
Ran into the middle of the field and then stood there, a picture of canine consternation: "Where's Grandpa? I'm all alone in this scary field, help!"
Ears at full stretch, uncertain trotting one way and then another, until I finally called her, and she fairly laid her lugs back, put the afterburner on and hurtled up to me, stopping in a perfect sit.
She was more careful not to lose track of me for a bit after that…
Well, I mean, I should ruddy well think not! What was the silly old
Finally got back to the boat and spent the rest of the day catching up on the old beauty sleep. Like I say, it's hot and muggy, don't want to overdo it.
He's planning to roast a chicken tonight, but I bet I don't get any of it, 'cos Mum told him I was just the right weight, meaningful look, meaningful look.
Oh well, it's better than being dragged round the shops, I guess. Oh, and apparently Mum texted last night to ask if they could take me for a week in July so's she can go "digging on the Basingstoke", whatever that is.
Life is just so unfair. Can I come and live with you, Ty? I bet you'd get some of this chicken.

PS Sorry about all the crossings out, Grandpa is having a Clean English Campaign. Too hot and tired to write, not too hot and tired to nag. Typical.

Well Sally, Granpa has a real cheek - He loses YOU then says YOU need to keep a closer eye on HIM!
I know it's hot but you really need to work on your people skills :-)
Ty says he doesn't share his hot chicken with anyone, not even luscious hot hounds like yourself, but if you come to visit then mummy Sue will cook extra...

Hi Bruce
You really need to get out more, only my opinion of course lol
Cheers
Roger
Roger, looking after Sally does get me out more, and look at the result.
We had 34 kg of Doberman lurcher sharing the bed at half five this morning, so that's half for the dog and half for the humans…
Cheers
Bruce
Mummy Sue: I know, I know, but he's getting old and daft(er) so I do my best to keep an eye on him. Jackie at Capable Canines says he's a character, but she didn't say what sort of play he was out of.
Thanks for the offer, and no, I didn't get any chicken last night.
