Incoming lodge… duck!

Today’s blog is mostly photos for a change. We were up betimes and ready to head over to the site of the lodge as soon as the crane arrived.

The craning was every bit as exciting as seeing a boat put in, and I’ll let the pictures and captions tell the story:

Over the next two weeks, the services will be connected up, the skirt added, the surrounding veranda/decking erected and the landscaping done. After that we'll have possession and can start putting in all the linens, crockery, cutlery and so on.
