Still in recovery

4 September

We're at Willington on the T&M, on our leisurely way to the Braidbar Owners' Weekend. I'm trying to find the energy to restart the blog properly, but the National must have taken more out of me than I thought. Maybe tomorrow, when we should have reached at least Branston and a slightly better connection than the dead slow one here. What is it about Burton on Trent and mobile internet?

Many thanks to those who've welcomed me back!

Hi Bruce, I hope that your personal batteries will be recharged soon - the IWA always sound like very hard work for the WRGies but I'm sure that your efforts are worthwhile (and appreciated.

Bruce, I am sorry that it is taking you longer than ususal to bounce back from the National. The power of work which all the red shirts do for this event is amazing and it must be hard going for those not now used to doing physical labour :-). Enjoy your rest and I hope it will not be too long before you feel up to blogging again. I am missing reading about your travels!
