We're heading back downstream into poor connection territory, so there may not be a blog for a couple of days.

New: Building Sanity Again and A Boater's Commonplace Book on the Kindle!

I've rewritten and updated my blog Building Sanity Again, and published it as a Kindle book. If you have a different ebook reader, email me via the link below, and I can sell you an ePub version for the same price, £3.01.

Similarly, Sheila has written a completely fresh book, answering all those questions we've been asked at the lockside or on the towpath down the years, like "Isn't it cold in the winter?" or "How do you cook a Canada Goose?". Called A Boater's Commonplace Book, it's £3.03 (don't ask) and the same deal applies for an ePub or pdf version.

Our Plans: Spring 2012

We plan to boat from Mercia to Poynton between 25th February and 8th March. Then we're going by road to Crick Marina to collect another Braidbar that needs moving to Poynton for some work to be done.

That will take us up to about the 20th March, and we'll then bring Sanity Again back to Mercia and environs, whilst we get check ups at the dentist, doctor and eye clinic. We haven't made firm plans for May yet, but will end up at Crick Show at the beginning of June; it's a week later than usual this year, because of the bank holiday moving to become the Jubilee Holiday.
