Hi Guys
Grandpa insists that it's my turn to blog, but I think that's because he's feeling hot and tired, so it's easier to shove it onto me. This is a really good mooring from my point of view, with a quietish towpath (just watch out for bikes) in both directions, and no traffic nearby to keep you awake.
Grandpa took me out for my first thing walk without even putting a lead on, and I was very happy to mooch on ahead of him. He seemed to think a short walk would be fine, and tried playing that trick of turning back when I wasn't looking. But I was ready for him; as soon as I saw him turn round, I just carried on a bit further. When he called me, I stopped and had a dump, so he had to come back with one of his little poly bags anyway.
/wahaha
There you are, it's enough to make a cat laugh.
We had a better walk while it was still cool straight after breakfast, and I co-operated with some recall stuff since he'd remembered to bring the treats with him. Since then, it's been too hot to do very much except lurk inside the boat, most of the time stretched out flat on the floor to get as cool as possible.
The AGPs have been planting more flowery things in a trough, which meant turning out the bow locker to find the compost, but I stayed inside and watched them getting hot and frazzled.
There's not a lot more to tell you, frankly – oh, Grandpa says to let you know that they've sold a total of 250 of their books; this they seem to think is an achievement. May be I should write a book one day, all about how to train humans…
/hmm
Well, it's more than the cat could do.
Loads of licks

Sally, did he tell you which of them had sold more??
Hi
They've sold 125 each. Just as well really, Granny was getting quite stroppy about not selling as many as Grandpa, something to do with him getting a review in some magazine called Canal Boat and she didn't…
But after the latest reviews in Towpath Talk, she's been catching up.
Woof! (Sorry, swan passing by.)
Sally
I'm really sorry for the lack of replies from our hounds, Sally, the do love you and your blogs!
It's just too hot and they're too busy cooling down with liver ice cream (good for Lou's sore throat).
