This blog is about life on board our narrowboat Sanity Again, cruising the inland waterways of the UK (mainly in the spring, summer and autumn) and living in a marina in the winter. It's the way I choose to write it; if you don't like it, there are many other boating blogs.

Dog to dog blog: on my hols
Hi guys
Here I am on my hols with the AGPs. I’d wondered what was going on with Mum packing loads of stuff and then she took the cat away (yea, bonus!) so I was getting quite anxious.
Anyway, first thing this am off we went in a loaded car on a completely strange road. Arrived I don’t know where, though near an interesting pub sign, the Bleeding Wolf. Could have been one of my ancestors, a real cool dude.
Mum makes a phone call and the AGPs appear to lug stuff to the boat down a hidden pathway. Mum shot off quite soon, but not before remembering that, having packed 14 portions of my food in little bags, put them in a big bag and carefully hidden them from me, she’d hidden them from herself and left them behind.
Doh!!!

Never mind, the AGPs told her they’d sort it and after Mum had gone we took a walk to the local Co-op where Grandpa got a sack of something called Wagg which sounds and smells very promising.
Course, it’ll probably make me a bit, how shall I say, softer than usual in the dumping area, but is this my problem? I think not. After all, Kato’s Sheba does that too and I don’t mind, I still scrum up the Sheba whenever I can snaffle some.
See, I’m a proper boat dog, I’m talking toilets already.
/wahaha
Must say the AGPs are looking a bit weary, but apparently they’ve been burning the candle at both ends recently and need some healthy exercise and early nights to recover. They'd had a particularly good night last night in that self same Bleeding Wolf with their mates Jayne and Stephen.
Job for me, obviously, getting them fit again.
I showed off this afternoon; guy knocks on the roof when I was half asleep and I didn’t even woof, just came out and lay around looking elegant whilst the AGPs nattered. Seems it was John and Margaret off another Braidbar, Phoebe.
Since then, we’ve all been loafing about again, not a bad life, eh?
That’s enough for now, I’m zonked. See you tomorrow...
Loads of licks

Hi Sally
I'm so pleased that you're on holiday - I think that the AGPs need a bit of excitement. I'll look forward to your blogs...
We've temporarily swapped Big Scaredy Wuss Jellyboy Ty for Henry and Archie hounds, who really enjoy boaty adventures - they say "Hi" - they do like a girl with spirit...

Hi Sally,
Ma says that we might meet up on the Macc. I can tell you all about the canals if you want to know. We have got lots of locks to do tomorrow and I love locks. See you soon.
