Into the yard for a busy day

Just a quickie tonight as I’m pretty weary and we’ve not finished for the day. It was an easy start, helping Dolce Far Niente shuffle with us. Dolce needed water and diesel and we needed a pump out, so it was a case of neat logistics which ended up with Dolce on the space we’d been using on the Deeps and us in the yard with an empty toilet tank.

The isolation transformer is now on board and all set up to use, and the NASA Clipper BM2 battery monitor is in. The rear door catches have been put on and one of the two replacement nav lights.

We now need to take Sanity Again out of the yard, wind her and reverse back in so that the other nav light can be done tomorrow.

There’s a bit more work to do as well, but it looks like we’re going to be all done in two days.

Meantime, we’ve made a start on the gardening that needs to be done in anticipation of the Open Day on 7 September.

Hopefully, I’ll get some photos of these various changes to the boat when I’ve recovered a bit.

In addition, we need to get down into Poynton tomorrow to get my prescription made up, so it’ll be another busy day.
