And now it's Tamworth

Nice pigs come from here, they say, but I don't think I've ever met one...

/wahaha

Sheila steered on a less good day, mizzly in fact, and we were glad to make it before it started raining in earnest. Some might be pleased and others disappointed that I'm feeling more rational today, which may be due to a meat free Monday or more likely to an evening off the booze.

Two things from yesterday: we saw a loose ferret on the towpath near a boat tied between Bagnall and Common Locks and we spent much of the afternoon turning out and repacking both the upper and lower bow lockers. This last involves me getting down in there, an excellent check on over-winter waistline expansion.

We're tied by Sutton Road Bridge; the weather looks ok-ish for tomorrow then rubbish on Thursday, so we'll probably go on to Polesworth and sit it out there.

Finally, a big hi to Lesley and Joe on nb Yarwood who passed by just as we're tying. Good to see you again!
