Quick catch up

It's been a great few days since I last blogged. We've boated through to Alrewas over two days, stopping overnight at Branston. That meant that we could walk through to the retail park and get a folio cover for my iPad; the unadorned beast is so slim and smooth that I felt quite anxious about dropping the thing until it had a bit of grip to it.

The boating itself has just been great, wonderful to be on our way again, and the weather has largely been benign. The wind became a bit of a nuisance towards the end yesterday but it's moderated now. It does look as if it could be a problem again in the second half of this week; we plan to be at Sutton Road Bridge by Tuesday night so as to be able to sit tight if need be.

Today we've been off the boat at Elanor's, doing some stuff in her garden mostly.

I'm tending to feel a bit dopey on the current meds, but nothing that can't be endured for now.
