At Brownsover we not only chatted to them but also to Val and Stewart on Belmont. Having stocked up, Sheila steered whilst I stowed. I took over again just in time for the interesting bit through Clifton Cruisers and we got to Hillmorton just in time for lunch.
George and Sue on Caxton were tied nearer to the locks, but weren't on board when we walked up to dump our rubbish in the well hidden skips. As we came back, we made the acquaintance of Doreen and Simon on Giffnock, the boat that was originally Iain and Luisa Bryceland's personal boat, then a hire boat before Doreen and Simon bought her.
They may be at Crick so we look forward to meeting them again then.
Back at Sanity Again Sheila potted up the thyme and three of the chilli plants into the last trough. We also sorted the bow locker for the summer, stowing the coal box and generally tidying up.
We had three chilli plants over, so took them to Caxton and presented them to George and Susan who had now returned. They promptly gave us a beer, it being such a hot day.
This is my excuse for the late blog...
