At the shop it was the usual story. We'd only gone to get a cabbage and some greens, but the butchery counter was open and all the usual tempting stuff was on display, so a fair bit of purchasing occurred. This included some home grown asparagus, yum, which we'll have tonight as a starter before our pork loin steaks with broccoli and mashed spud.
Back at the boat we had an early coffee then made a start on the polishing, it now being not just dry but trying to be sunny. We did this side in easy stages, breaking for lunch after the first third and for another break halfway through the remainder. In addition, Sheila did the wax on, as a result of which we've achieved a much better finish.
As may be imagined, we've been taking it easy since.
Tomorrow, we'll set off again, back the way we came. We'll probably stop at the pig farm, sorry, Taft Wharf, for the night, then back through Rugeley on Tuesday.

Thanks Kiwidad!
Didn't see your comment until this morning, or would have come for a chat. As it was I was looking at your folding chairs and thinking they were the only ones I've seen like ours.
Have a good summer.
All the best
Bruce
