Hillmorton via Tesco

We had a very pleasant evening last night aboard La Suvera, even if it did mean getting to bed rather late. :))

Fortunately, we weren't in a hurry this morning, with only the short run to Brownsover to visit Tesco then another quick trip to the foot of Hillmorton. It was my turn to steer, so I bundled up thoroughly against the cold wind and off we went. There's been a bit more traffic about today, with a fair number of hire boats (largely well behaved) on the move.

Loads of room at Brownsover, with spaces on both sides of the cut. After getting back to the boat and stowing the stores, I gave Calcutt a call; the best day for us to visit will be Thursday, which suits us. It means that we can sit tight here tomorrow, which is forecast to be a day of wrath rain and move on to between Braunston and Napton on Wednesday.

Finally, a big thank you to Yvonne and Roger on Fizzical Attraction. I was feeling pretty cheap this morning and their get well e-card was just the thing to cheer me up.
