A merry meeting

After a quiet start to the day, we rendezvoused with Stephen and Jayne and Mick and Alison in the Willow Tree and had a very substantial natter about the experience of building a Braidbar. Three No Trumps will be fitting out very shortly, and the Traceys were naturally full of questions about the whole process.

They were kind enough to say that they'd found Building Sanity Again (the ebook, not the blog) very helpful, which was nice of them.

After an hour, it began to feel as if we'd taken up space in the cafe for long enough, so we adjourned to Dolce Far Niente, where Jayne very kindly provided sandwiches and beer or other refreshment, and we carried merrily on for another couple of hours or so.

After the party had broken up, Sheila and I felt a bit dozy, but managed to find the energy to sweep Sanity Again's floor prior to the mid afternoon cup of tea.

A check with Cheap Mobility Online established that the new chairs are on their way, and may be delivered any day now. Since we are out tomorrow, at the Walking Group's post Christmas lunch, Stephen and Jayne have kindly agreed to take them in if they turn up. Truly, they are good friends to us.

It occurred to me that it's a bit daft trying to sell copies of an ebook when most of the content is available for free on the blog, so I've archived the latter for the time being. If you don't have a Kindle, but still want the benefit of my ramblings, you can always download Kindle for PC or Kindle for Mac, as appropriate, for free from Amazon, then buy the book…
