It's a lousy connection here at Fradley on T-mobile today, so I'll keep this short.
We made a carefully timed start at nine, and got here just on half ten as other moorers were setting off, so that we were able to get a 70' spot on the visitor moorings. On the way, we passed Shell Bell going the other way and had a brief shouted conversation.
Nev Wells hopped off Waterlily as we were working up Hunt's Lock, gave us a hand with that and Keepers and then came in for a cup of coffee and a natter.
Apart from that, we've dumped the rubbish and the recycling and then lurked down below, burning wood on the Squirrel, watching a DVD and generally loafing. You can't get solid fuel here at the moment, so we're hoping to get some at Fazeley Mill when we pump out there on Thursday. Until then, we're burning a load of wood Elanor kindly brought us; the weather's turned thoroughly cold and unpleasant again.

Tomorrow, we'll head off to get water and finish at Huddlesford Junction for the night.
