Dog to dog blog: it's Tuesday again

Hi guys

I just took a glance through Grandpa's last couple of posts, and he's really been slacking, hasn't he? If I'm not about, he just loafs around in the boat, as far as I can see, reading the paper and faffing around on the web.

And they accuse us younger types of being lazy couch potatoes.

So today, I decided that he and Grandma should really get exercised. I took them to the field, and joy of joys, found a bit of old bunny someone had left lying around. It was beautifully tasty, so of course Grandpa didn't want me to have it.

Gosh did he try hard to get it back! He managed it once, and tried to hide it behind him, but I zoomed round there, swiped it and dashed off. Laugh, I should have, but was too busy scoffing.

The final touch was to let him get hold of me, with Grandma assisting, and then as he tried to grab the bit of bun…

Gulp, gulp, down it went. He was shoving bis fingers down my throat by now, but Mummy's tried that too, and I can swallow faster than they can tug.

/wahaha

After that, we did the usual stuff with the tyre, though I wasn't too worried about it, it's not anything like as much fun as a bun, and I let Grandpa take some shots of me doing it.

This afternoon, after the usual lunchtime loaf, we had another walk round the marina, but not much going on, except that I had to warn a huge Great Dane to mind his manners. He was just visiting, and I expect respect from dogs that don't belong here.

As usual, Grandpa hauled me off with remarks about my manners, but he just doesn't understand the etiquette of these things. I mean, on the way back from the fields in the morning we met Katie and her Dad, and I was fine with her, 'cos she belongs here and anyway is good fun for a dash about in the fields.

I'll stick the best of the photos on the end of this – keep your heads down during these noisy nights, guys.

Loads of licks,

Your friend

Sally

I just love those ears! I thought that Ryans ears were big but they are not a patch on Sallys. Mind you, she is a bit bigger :-)

Sounds like you're having oodles of fun Sally - way to go!

Foraging for food is very trendy - I expect Grandad was upset that you didn't take the bunny back to the boat so he could cook it for his tea!

Hugs from the hounds
