After the exertions of yesterday, we felt we were due a day to kick back and take it easy. So we had a lie in on top of the extra hour resulting from the clocks going back, and our main exercise has been to walk to Betty's Farm Shop, where we bought a joint of beef for tonight, a loaf of bread and a lot of vegetables.
Back at the boat, we've been reading and pottering. I topped up the batteries (not that they needed much) and we watched the sky darken and the rain set in.
So I guess we won't be going anywhere else today; anyway, we're feeling quite stiff after the tree pruning activities.
Elanor and Sally (who did turn up just after I blogged yesterday) are at an agility competition today; they've managed a fourth out of six and a fifth out of eleven, the best they've managed so far, so Elanor's pretty pleased, as she should be.
