Good day mostly

Sheila needs a small filling, but apart from that things went well today. As I expected, I'm not going to do a long blog after a very pleasant lunch in the Crown, but I must just say that:

a) Unsurprisingly, Lloyd and Helen were very good company as well as being good kind people for giving us a lift and

b) The Crown was well up to the mark; not an original menu, but good basic food well cooked and presented, with a good range of veggie options. The beer was also well kept, especially the Pedigree. All the more surprising then that we were the only customers eating.

We're now looking forward to a quiet evening. Sheila has managed to look up the answers to last Saturday's giant general knowledge crossword, which was especially tricky this week. I mean, how many people could remember the exact title of Tyrannosaurus Rex's first album? Yes, all of it, it was about five lights long.

No, without looking it up on the internet. I'll put the answer in a comment tomorrow.

Normal service tomorrow, probably, but Christmas is coming in case you hadn't noticed, so stuff may get even more erratic than usual.

The album was called "My People Were Fair and Had Sky in Their Hair… But Now They're Content to Wear Stars on Their Brows".

No, I don't either.

Cheers
