- We're safely on the dry dock here at Norbury. I got asked to do the initial boat handling, turning the bow into the pack of boats opposite the entrance to the arm and reversing down to the dock. Pretty tricky stuff, but fortunately no wind so all went well.
- We've been pressure washed and the hull looks just fine, with a lot of the blacking still well attached. Lee who's doing it had to go over it again to get the very fine weed off. He said this normally wasn't a problem because with most boats, all the blacking comes off and takes the weed with it.
- The anodes look good for another two years, say Simon, but we're certainly getting through them a lot quicker than we did on Sanity, presumably because we're spending so much more time on shorelines in marinas. It's confirmed my intention to get an isolation transformer and stop relying on the galvanic isolator.
- The Ocado delivery came in ok, so we're well stocked for grub again.
- Speaking of which, we had an OK meal in the Junction Inn last night. Their own Junction Inn Best Bitter was all right but not in the very best of nick, and the pies were generous portions. It was quite crowded and noisy, though.
- Main worry is that the charger stayed on absorption mode for a very long time, making me worry that we may have a battery problem. Today's job wiill be to check out the battery bank.
That's all for now, see you sometime!
