We've been busy today, but not on anything dramatic so far. A wash load has been run, more work done on the Canal Boat quiz, much walking round the marina for various reasons, mostly to do with the challenges of living in the lodge but having most of our stuff still on the boat.
We lunched in the Willow Tree, which was strangely quiet; maybe all those office workers who pop in there were having works parties instead. Outside on the peninsula, they've started cutting off the spare bits of the piles with a cruncher; like a two bucket grab, but with cutting edges on the two halves of the grab to crunch through the concrete and steel. Very impressive.
After I've posted this, I'm going to make some dough for pizzas for tonight. Trev and Rachael are coming round to inspect the lodge and I want to be able to offer them some nice nibbles. When we visited them on Takt Up, Rachael produced the most amazing range of stuff; I can't compete with that, but can do a few bits and pieces.
