Thoughts for today:
- Even if it’s horrible outside, damp and cold and breezy, you can still have a good time in a boat.
- If you use dental floss too enthusiastically last thing, you can end up with tingling finger tips half the night whilst the blood and nerve supply recovers; I’m going to try bow ended flossers like these for a bit.
- Sadly, there’s been a tragedy at Banbury where it seems a man and his dog both died from carbon monoxide poisoning in their boat. Test your CO alarms now, and if you haven’t got at least two on the boat, Amazon have a deal of the day on the reputable Fire Angel one right now.
- When the towpaths are too sloppy/soggy/slithery to walk on easily, exercising your dog in the copse alongside is a good idea. But some Doberman x greyhounds don’t half make stupid woofing noises when being tormented by a squirrel 12 feet above them. Maybe it had read her post about Space Launched Squirrels and was getting its own back… :))
- “Scorpion” sets a much better giant general knowledge crossword in the Saturday Indy than “Eimi” does; we've nearly finished it already.
- Tomorrow is another day, but I’m trying not to get too excited about it.

It's also a good day for sofa shopping! We went to Nu-Trend and ordered two new ones for our sitting room. Gary remembered you well you'll be pleased to hear and said what lovely sofas you had chosen for Walnut Lodge.
Dear AGP's
Could you pass a message to Sally for me - it's important!
I have been given a new cookbook with recipes for hound treats - it includes low calorie recipes featuring interesting things you can do with carrots!
Can Sally ask mummy whether these would be acceptable? I'm sure I can contrive a delivery - either by post or boat sometime :-)

Sally says, yes please, woof!
Elanor confirms she'd be happy for Sal to have some; who gave you the book, as if I couldn't guess :))
Chers
Bruce
I'll get baking!
