That did it! Just about to sit down to them and the phone rings to say that there's a TNT delivery for you.
Met the cheerful driver, took delivery of two large and rather battered boxes. Ate lunch, spent the afternoon putting together two chairs and two footstools, and taking apart the Poangs whilst taking notes so that we can do an instruction leaflet.
I am now knackered, so will do the pics and stuff tomorrow. I'll also print off and laminate some ads for the Poangs, to put in the laundries. We're going to ask £50 for the pair, but will be well open to offers; here's the photos I'm going to use:
Now for a quiet evening sitting in my new chair and indulging in a little drink…

I hope they're comfortable after all that effort!
With snow on the way you'll be needing all the comfort you can get :-)
Has Sally seen snow yet? I imagine she'll enjoy it tremendously...

I can see that they've been 'heavily' used (or at least one of them has). Have you got one too many zeros in your price? ;-)))
Roger
These cheap Ikea Poang chairs are only a tenner each on ebay! I think you do mean a fiver each not £50!
Sue: Thank you, yes they are.
You're right about Sally, she had a great time in the deep snow last year, bounding up and down.
Roger: the one pictured is often used by guests… I'm sure I've got a photo of you in it somewhere! Was the fiver an offer?
;-}}
Anonymous: thank you for that, whoever you are. If you search on "Poang chair leather", the top bid is currently £20.99, so £50 for two wouldn't be so far off. There are also some for 99p, admittedly, but of course the auction won't really start on those until the ones ahead of them are sold.
If we don't find a buyer locally, we may well pop them on eBay, but we might find a buyer (by no means necessarily at £25 each, we are open to any offers, even Millin's) here in Mercia which would be easier all round.
Take care in this weather, one and all.
Bruce
