Not much to say today

We've carried on taking it easy today; we walked into the village this morning, and other than that we've sat tight in the boat. The snow has started to thaw a bit, but there's more to come according to the forecast.

Nev Wells thought he had a buyer for Waterlily, but it's fallen through, which is a bit of a blow for him. Nothing to do with the boat, the buyer had to withdraw for personal reasons, apparently. Nonetheless, she's a great little boat, so hopefully another buyer will be along in a bit.

We might have a volunteer session tomorrow; we'll have to see how the weather is, I guess.

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for the plug for Waterlily. We were disappointed but have to roll with it.

What are your cruising plans for 2013?

Take care

Nev

Hi Nev

You're welcome; best of luck, I'm sure she'll sell once the snow is out of the way…

Current plan is to head up the Llangollen first thing, then back to Norbury for blacking on 1 May. After that it will be on to Crick for the Show. Beyond that, we've no firm plans, but would like to do Liverpool this year, depending on the weather and the Dutton's breach being fixed, of course.

Take care yourself, especially on the bike in this!

Cheers

Bruce

I can recommend Liverpool!

Listening to "Gardeners' Question Time" and musing that planning the Summer cruise is the equivalent of gardeners sitting in their potting sheds looking at seed catalogues :-)

Our plans are currently changing every few hours :-D
