This blog is about life on board our narrowboat Sanity Again, cruising the inland waterways of the UK (mainly in the spring, summer and autumn) and living in a marina in the winter. It's the way I choose to write it; if you don't like it, there are many other boating blogs.

Dog to dog blog: Field exercises
Hi guys
It’s been yet another day on the boat checking out the AGPs. The good news is that one of the exercise fields is available again – I got to use it on Sunday when we were here, chasing my whistling frisbee (how cool is that?) and I’ve been there twice today.
Must say today was even better as the AGPs had found the tyre throw toy I used all last winter. It flies much better than the frisbee and bounces in a really exciting way. In addition, it’s much easier to pick up and charge about with. You can leave it lying on the ground, wait until a human is bending over to pick it up and then nip in and run off with it going hah-dee-hah-dee-hah!
=))
This means you can get some serious exercise into the humans without having to chase the thing too many times yourself, highly recommended. Must say, I’ve been missing that sort of work out, I got quite puffed at one stage. Later on I took to hiding behind the bunds which are a feature of field three, always good to keep the humans guessing about where you are going to come out.
Apart from that it’s been pretty quiet. Walking round the rest of the marina I met a couple of appreciative folk, some of them I knew from walking with Mum in Burton, just shows how these boaters get about.
I’m looking forward to Mum coming back, of course – probably have a day at home in the cave tomorrow to catch up on my kip after all the hard work today.
Take care of yourselves, folks, and see you next week.
Loads of licks

Sally
