Suite Sunday

The suite was due to arrive at nine, so we had to be up and about in good time. Sheila went off to do her WeBS walk whilst I walked round to the lodge to have a coffee with our guests. In the event, the Nu-trend van didn’t make it until not much before ten, but it was well worth the wait:

Sheila had finished her walk before I left the lodge and was able to try out the new seats for herself. Although a bit more expensive than DFS, they are well worth it both for the bespoke design and the quality of the work.

Returning to Sanity Again, we loaned out the pressure washer to a couple of our fellow moorers before lunch. Afterwards I was in need of exercise so Sheila had a second walk round the marina with me. We met Stephen and Jayne heading round then other way and stopped for a good old natter.

Back at the boat once more I lit the fire and was sorting out the photos I took this morning when Nev off Percy called in. Percy is presently tied over the other side for Justin of Aqua to do some work in her galley. Nev took a cup of tea off us and we had another catch up and general chat.

A quiet night tonight and a more relaxed day tomorrow; we need to go into the village for various purposes but don’t have any other commitments.
