Ocado, laundry and coal

With the Ocado delivery scheduled for 10 to 11, we knew it might turn up anytime after half nine. Sheila had a hair appointment at noon, so would have a disrupted lunchtime. This gave us enough excuse to get breakfast in the Willow Tree. In fact we tend not to have the full Boater's these days; it's good value, but a lot of grub first thing. Instead we go for a hot cob; sausage and egg for both today.

Typically, having made sure we got this as soon as the WT opened at half eight, the delivery didn't turn up until nearly eleven. No matter, it was all present and correct and we were able to get it checked off and largely put away before Sheila had to set off for the village.

Intermingled with this was carrying on with the laundry, of course.

After lunch and a time of recovery, we filled in the forms to confirm that we want a residential mooring from the start of September. These we took over to the office, taking the folding sack truck with us. Once we'd got the business done with Lucy in the office, we popped into the shop and bought a bag of coal. At this time of year we only buy one bag at a time, so as not to get lumbered with too much over the hot summer months.

Well, we can always hope for a repeat of last year...
