We had a text from Peter Mason last night suggesting lunch today, so we stayed put and had a serious lie-in, not getting up until half seven. It's been a day for pottering around, saying goodbye to some folk and lurking about with others. (You know who you are...)
It was an excellent meal at the Italian restaurant in Poynton, thanks Peter. In the afternoon, we spent a bit of time loafing on the bow in the sun and a bit more ditto in the bungalow garden. It's really good to unwind and just natter.
We're definitely, positively going tomorrow. Probably.
